Kiriana Avronieva

Kiriana Avronieva (Kiki) has been dreaming to spend her life with a brush in her hand ever since she was a kid. She graduated in Painting at National Art High School „Tzanko Lavrenov“ in Plovdiv. There she perfected her painting and drawing techniques and gained experience in sculpture, graphics and painting in fresco. She was admitted at NATFA to study stage design in the class of assoc. prof. Mira Kalanova. Kiki has worked on the „Collateral Damage“ play of dir. Maxima Boeva, where she designed both the stage and the puppets as well.

Kiriana has worked for almost two years as entertainer in a children’s party center. She feels full of happiness when she communicates with children. They have taught her that there’s nothing scary to ride the slide backwards. In return Kiki wants to teach children that there’s nothing scary to spill some paint on the white sheet, on the contrary – it is so fun.

Painting and stage design, just like two very good buddies, compliment each-other and develop their imagination together. The common thing between her drawing teacher and her stage design teacher is that both frequently repeat to her: „Be bold, don’t be scared!“.
